SUMMARY:UChapter2 LIVE – Transforming Building Compliance with Bluebeam Revu
DESCRIPTION:With direct contact with facility management, the focus is on migrating facility inspections and consulting from a work order-based system to an informative and interactive system with Bluebeam Revu. This switch is fully focused on providing an in-depth survey for facilities, and detail-oriented information to be used in verifying the adequate safety of life is met. Join this session to learn about how I went about creating multiple different tool sets, that were customized to meet the criteria from each group, to provide a guided flow through extracted reports. And how these types of reports can be used by contractors and facility consultants for post-construction surveys and reviews.\nI’ve asked industry experts working in the trenches of design/construction to help teach myself and the UC2 community from their specific, and always different experiences. This month, Devon Armstrong will be presenting our webinar!\n\nDevon Armstrong is Life Safety Code Specialist at Medxcel. He has an AS in Architectural Studies from Vincennes University and a BS in Architectural Studies from Southern Illinois University. Devon also holds certifications as a Life Safety Specialist for Healthcare (CLSS-HC) and Certified Hazard Recognition Specialist (CHRS). In his role, Devon works with facility managers to ensure CMS compliance through assessments and also assists in developing engineered life safety drawings.\n
