Boot Camp/ Training

I want to start doing some Revu training with most of our people here, but I’m running into a huge Chicken/ Egg Scenario.

I really want to get to know their workflows; find out how they’re using Revu currently and also try and find out if there is anything that they want Revu to do?

The biggest problem there is that most of them see it as only a viewer and don’t fully understand even a tenth of what Revu is capable of.

I’m thinking maybe a Boot Camp style starter course. Like an hour and a half (or more) of pure Bluebeam. Not the basics either, but some of the really cool stuff. I want everyone to know that this is much more than a PDF viewer.

What do you all think? Open to all opinions.

Users don’t know what they don’t know, and trainers can train until they know what the user doesn’t know. 🤣

Perhaps I should deliver my Other 85% presentation to the Brainery Community.

I peeked at the slide deck so I probably start with at least that.

I’d like to see that presentation @troy-degroot

I like to think that I’m using a decent chunk of the other 85%, but I know there is more out there that I can learn. 🙂

That would be a very good idea.

Have you considered having everyone go through the intro course so that they can start to learn what they don’t know that they don’t know about?

I don’t like two things: 1. The way things are. 2. Change.

I think it’s a great idea to spread the knowledge. I remember my first steps using Bluebeam (almost 10 years ago now), I discovered I had a problem of an unsatiated appetite to learn more and improve many things from the pen and paper that was the “norm” when I joined. Many things were a trial and error on my end, and I only really use a fraction of the functions available in Bluebeam.

But I’m still a Bluebeam geek and LOVE learning more.
