Single file, same page even. Script won’t come with the copied button.

I only just saw this, sorry!

Are you copying the button within a single PDF? Or between different PDFs?

I created a small script that allows a Form Button to change from a blank button to a filled circle or an open circle (each click cycles through the options). Works great, except that when I copy the button, the JavaScript action doesn’t come with.

Does anyone know of a way to apply a script action to multiple buttons, or how to copy a button…

Unfortunately, the stamp shows as an Markup once its dropped. Normally with Adobe we could use removeannot to ‘possibly’ get it done, but Revu unfortuately does not have any annot methods available yet. We are pushing and hoping for this functionality soon, but no timeline heard yet.

Something you might consider @notoriouspbgcomcast-net is creating a “job sheet” or “cover sheet” that could be applied as part of your workflow. The printing process could then be set to start with page 2 – or simply recycle that 1st sheet before binding.

can you share what your stamp looks like? With the count tool, you would do a text or visual search for an item, then you can apply a symbol to all the items it found. This may not be as automated as you’re looking for, but I don’t know of another way.

@pkkuehnel I 100% agree with @Doug McLean for the solution you are looking for. if you sent up custom statuses in the markups list, you can name them exactly what the phase of review is in your company language, and set the colors to change according to the selected status. it would also record who changed each status and when automatically.

Reading your response to @Doug McLean and mine I’d suggest creating a “Sample Format” file that you could have open off to the side in a separate window. This PDF could have text boxes pre-formatted that you could select, then select the format painter and then apply back to your review document as needed.

Out of curiosity, what is the work flow that you are needing this functionality for? As an estimator I’d expect that in addition to a count of each piece, W21x44 per your example, I’d also need the length of the piece so I’d be able to calculate the tonnage of steel to purchase.
