It’s actually for typing in any text tool like the Textbox, Callout, Cloud+, Typewriter, etc.

Second part of my answer, when you are in a command and want to pan to a different area of the document without canceling the tool, you can hold your spacebar.

Tried adjusting the dimming – no change

I’m guessing it is to do with changing between the Select and Pan tools as you are moving around a drawing.

Maybe something to with the line weights being disabled?

One of my coworkers stopped me in my tracks this morning. The original linework on a 31 page takeoff file is not displaying. His takeoff markups are there, but none of the original linework is visible.

We checked to ensure all the layers are on – which they are.

Does anyone have other ideas?

I actually do not know what spacebar does or are you just talking about when entering text?

I doubt I would ever suspect the software if a keystroke wasn’t working. I’d be wondering what was up with my keyboard.

There is a known issue right now in Revu 21.8 where the spacebar may not be responsive for some users. As a workaround, disable the spellcheck feature. This will resolve the issue until they fix it in the next update.

In addition to my tool sets being “offline” I was also having issues with launching Dynamic Fill. I reached out to Revu support about this and while they could see the issue in my error logs, they could not identify what was causing the issue. Tried these commands, still didn’t work, he reinstalled older version of Revu and it fixed the issue.

I used to do the same thing with a saved document.

You could use an ASCII character, but those are limited to only a select few.

I keep a word document open with all the stacked fractions I need and a couple of symbols at the lower corner of my monitor to copy and paste into programs that don’t have the stacking capability. I just thought, that since Bluebeam seems to designed for the construction industry, there would be a stacked fraction function.

I’m not aware of a way to stack fractions. Sometimes when I need different symbols I open the Character Map function on my computer. The diameter is the most common one I use from there. I did see a very limited number of stacked fractions. Give that a try.
