I’m diving into Bluebeam on Web & Mobile (Cloud) and having some issues. Hoping the community can help out.

1. When I try to “Send Toolchest to Cloud” in 21.8, the option is not available.

2. I’m looking at the Projects & Sessions in the Cloud App on my iPhone, and only a fraction of the sessions & projects are shown.

What am I missing?

you certainly could do it that way, I do that a lot. I did the same thing in this case with a custom column for block size so it fits into the formula we created to tell us the total number of blocks.

I wonder what would happen with this method if you made your subject generic “Retaining Wall” and then added labels for each size versus the landscaping label you have, so that way the rows would all be summed under one subject.

I think I’d look to record the progress on the drawing using a custom column. Depending on the lengths of the walls in question this may be a simple “Completed” or a “% Complete”.

I’d then kick this out to Excel to work out the % complete as you may want to look at this in different ways e.g.

% complete of that particular type of wall

% complete…

You could also create custom Statuses

For example:

Not Started

In Progress

Complete

You could assign colors to see the progress visually

While a custom column could be created in Revu for tracking, my thoughts are that it’s not the best location for it.
Now if this was being entered by someone in the field, then sure, it could work. Then the data could be exported and analyzed in either Excel, Power BI, or whatever BI solution that you’re using.

Adding a custom column to track % complete for a given markup shouldn’t be a problem. In theory you could also add a total value column and then write a formula in a 3rd column to calculate an earned value.

I believe it has something to do with Studio Projects moving to the Cloud.

One of the things everyone has wanted (besides measurements) is two way document syncing. Moving Studio projects to a cloud environment is supposed to be how they’re going to accomplish this

Another thought @tshupe would be to reach out to Bluebeam through as many channels as you can identify (your reseller, LinkedIn post, etc.) and ask them to extend the deadline 60 to 90 days to allow folks like yourself to reconfigure your workflows rather than leaving you dead in the water. @troy-degroot may even be able to provide…

I haven’t run into anyone yet. I played around with it a while back for a basic presentation. It’s pretty basic at the moment, but they are putting a lot of effort into development and listening to users. I hope they’re getting the feedback they need.

I would love to hear stories if anyone has one to share.

Unfortunately not Dave. I’m not sure what happened but I’m really not sure how much time I would have had to put into looking at this anyway – I haven’t got enough time for the Revu workflows that I’ve already started.
