I’ve had some issues with the Word Plugin.

Other than that though, nothing outrageous.

I’ve not come across any issues with 21.9 @DavidCutler but, as Doug has also said, I’m using the Max beta.

I would guess they are scanning the line you said, but there is a setting when they print to select Vector or Raster. I hope it’s that simple and fixed going forward.

We have a local Civil Site Design firm that consistently distributes what appear to be scanned PDFs. Part of this may be that they are applying a wet seal and signature, but even their unsealed documents appear to be scanned – or at least are what I believe is called a “raster” print rather than a “vector” print.

Once you have all your tools built and placed in the Toolset, click on the properties gear to the right of the Toolset title. Then select Legend > Create New Legend. This will create a legend of only the tools in that Toolset. Next, go to your properties and modify what data you want…

Hello,
Inspired by the toolsets provided on the site I created my own, but for some reason the legends I create are hit or miss. I don’t feel I’m doing anything differently between them, but obviously missing something.

Any tips on making sure the legend in my tool set is populated with markups from the toolset?

I have some customer training to complete before the slower holiday week. I plan to upgrade then. I’m looking forward to deep diving into Cloud and GoCanvas over the break.

Had another update today – he had previously been on 21.7. The wide “as applying markup” highlight is very annoying. Thinking I’m staying in 26.1 for a while…

One of our guys updated to 21.8. So far so good. Appears that they fixed the issue with the area markup where the shading was covering the linework as you applied the points. The edge line that it is leaving as you select your boundary still appears to be a bit wide though…

As always, I’m going to hold off for a little while. I was hoping for 21.7.1 with just bug fixes, so I’m still back a few updates. I did have some students yesterday who had upgraded; they didn’t mention anything in class.

Appears that Revu 21.8 was released overnight. Has anyone installed it yet? Any issues? I see that @dhwalkellc has posted elsewhere that the issue with how the area fills were shown while applying a markup has been fixed, but not much other chatter yet…

Custom statuses are part of the markup metadata, meaning the markup itself does not change. When you look in the markup list, though, you’ll see each time the markup’s status was changed, who changed it, and when.

You can make as many statuses as you want and they can be called whatever you want.

They are a utility company laying out underground gas and electric, along with overhead electric. They were flexible on the linestyles, so we got it to work out.

The image is taken from Revu – so it is possible to create a line along the lines of what you are hunting for…

Unfortunately, it isn’t one line, it’s actually 4 copies of the same line, with different custom line styles stacked on top of each other…

Maybe I’m overthinking it. Is this in Bluebeam? How did you create a line with 2 colors?

Very little is “impossible” in Bluebeam. Painful at times? Absolutely! 🙂

Anyone wish we had more flexibility with custom linestyles. I have a new customer who needs some pretty specific lines; they seem simple on paper, but impossible in Bluebeam. Check out my post in the Bluebeam community.
