What release are you guys running, do you install updates when they come out?
I’m still in 21.2 simply because I teach every day and don’t like surprise bugs popping up during class. However, in the last two days, I’ve seen new bugs pop up in my older release. I think when I get two or so updates behind new bugs start to encourage me to upgrade.
The upper half of my Visual Search panel is not visible all of a sudden. It makes it hard to teach really powerful tools.
Now I have to figure out when to update!

I’ve just updated to 21.4 mainly because I wanted to try to use the new cycle through feature. I had to sign out and back into Revu a few times before it would work but now that it is, I’m already finding really useful as my drawings have so many markups on them.
I guess it would also be quite handy to know about the new features – and their pitfalls!!! – when teaching as those new to Revu seem to be the ones who instantly install the new updates. I’m assuming that is who you are mainly teaching?
I’m just wondering if it is possible to have a second ‘desktop’ on your computer for teaching with an older version on it????

A mix of experinced and new users in my classes. Today I had a student who didn’t have the option to “create count” from the toolchest. The option just wasn’t on the menu. Also, today my search panel looks normal. I look forward to the new tools, but the old ones have to work when training. 😆

I haven’t made the jump to 21.4 yet. Trying to stay focused on getting stuff done. Curious to see how the cycle through markups works. I know the “Hide Single Markups” is a very handy upgrade.

I looked at the release notes and wasn’t going to bother, then another member of my team updated.
What he found was that they hid a few updates. They’ve updated the Custom Column popup interface to be more in line with the other popups (before it was stuck in Revu 2017).
There was also a Word plugin fix, which I use, so we’ll see where that goes.
Still haven’t fixed the custom labels issue though (since they can’t seem to reproduce it on their end). 😕-

I was having an issue with Sets which they said they couldn’t reproduce so, I sent them a video after which they could then reproduce the problem. Maybe worth a go?
