Alright, let’s get to importing the hatch patterns!

1. Save the provided UChapter2.bhx file into the following folder location.

C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Roaming\Bluebeam Software\Revu\20

Note: “YOUR NAME” will be your specific computer name and “20” is whichever version you’re running (these hatch patterns will work regardless of version).

2. Next, in Bluebeam Revu open any PDF file and draw a shape markup.

With this new markup selected, you can now go to the Properties Panel and select the Hatch pulldown menu as shown. Click on Manage option at the bottom of the list.

3. Select the Import button in the resulting window and navigate to the folder above and select the UChapter2.bhx file. Click Open.

In the resulting window be sure to check the box for Relative Path. This helps things stay linked if you share Profiles with other users.

This is a good time to remove any unwanted hatch patterns to reduce the length of the list. Simply select the hatch in the list and click the red X.

When finished click OK.

5. Finally go back to the Hatch pulldown menu and verify the list now includes the new patterns.

6. SAVE: Now that we have successfully loaded our hatch patterns, I recommend you go to the Revu > Profiles > Save Profile. This will ensure your hatch patterns stay saved to your Profile.
