Layers lost when slip sheeting

Tried “batch slip sheet” to bring an updated set of drawings into my takeoff file. Both the original takeoff file and the file with updated sheets include the “native” layers from the designer. When I used batch slip sheet to replace the pages I appear to have lost the native layers in the process. My markup layers were maintained.

Has anyone run into this before? Typically I don’t have the original native layers to worry about, but since I have them I’d like to preserve them.

I can always copy my markups from my original takeoff file to the updated set of drawings, but thought this would be more efficient.

Did both of the versions have the layers before you slipped?

Yes, they both had the layers from the designer – which I appreciate and utilize!

Not at this time @Vince – just a good, old fashioned single file with 25 pages. 😎
