Measurements disappearing after X zoom

    Hello,

Sometimes when I pull a dimension on a plan, the measured distance disappears if my view zoom is set too far. I still see the dimension line but don’t see the measured distance. This won’t happen if I’m zoomed in enough, however, it would be nice to see the entire plan and be able to pull a dimension.

Let me know if there is a fix for this – thanks!

Interesting that you would run into that on accident. One thing could be that someone has created custom measurement tools and set them to a layer. Look at the properties to see what Layer the markups are on. Then, if you look at the Layers Panel, go to the layer properties for that layer. You might have a custom setting in the “Zoom” menu that hides them until you zoom in.

My guess is that the text is too small, so you’re not able to read it when zoomed out. I like to keep all my markup text the same size as the drawing text. Thanks for posting for all of us to learn.
