Still trying to figure out what the tool chest enhancements are. I see smaller icons, but can’t figure out what they are talking about with punch key options, multi-select, drag and drop multiple, improved detail.

It turned out to be a dodgy set of drawings @DavidCutler ! However, I did test the stitching out on another set of drawings that I’d already put together with the old method – it still took longer with the new feature and the results weren’t as good.

The new toolchest features appear to be pretty good though.
However, I am still trying to sort out an issue that I’ve been having for a few months with My Tools duplicating itself everytime I update and save a profile. One profile currently has 7 duplicate copies of My Tools which is rather frustrating!

Saw a post on “another site” that indicated that Bluebeam had pulled down Revu 21.6 due to an issue with the licensing and had made 21.5 available again. Might be time to reinstall 21.5 @Vince ….

I’ve been fighting this one for a while as well. I don’t find bugs in the versions like we used to; my bugs are alive and constantly moving. Basic things work in the morning, but not in the afternoon. If I close BB and open it, it works, but a new bug comes up. I typically have to shut down BB three times during a two-hour class.

I think we need a “dislike” option for comments like this @troy-degroot !

Hopefully they will tighten things up if we keep sharing the issues with them.

Frankly I’m amazed any of this software stuff works. I wouldn’t know where to start… 🙃

I do like the ability to all but collapse the Comments column.
Also like the ability to move the numbered Hot Keys

Haven’t really figured out some of the other ones though.

I’m with you @Doug McLean – I’ve worked out what one or two of the changes are but the rest is still a mystery. @isaac-harned has mentioned something about sequences changing and you have noted the hot-keys – I haven’t discovered either of those yet.

I was glad to see on the MCR the other morning that you can turn off the Comments Column completely.

It was really weird, the first day I had this update, none of the new options seemed to work, but a couple days later I was able to multi-select, change the hot keys, change columns. IDK anymore lol

I had to close Revu, then everything worked when I reopened it

Finally, I can turn off the “Comment” column in the toolsets. I think this has been a request for over 20 years.

With that said, what bugs are everyone seeing in the new update?

• My scroll wheel zoom sometimes becomes unresponsive for no apparent reason. To be fair, I had this issue in past versions.
• My Legends are not creating properly, and are not updating live. Whether I create the Legend from the markups on the drawing or from the Toolset, they don’t report the information. When I add new markups, they don’t update the Legend. When I manually add the markups to the existing Legend, they create a new instance rather than adding to the existing markup quantity.

Probably more, but those are the biggest headaches during the class I taught yesterday.

I know someone who is having with very long wait time when connecting to a server printer.
My main issue is My Tools creating duplicate copies at the bottom of the tool chest. This only happens if everything is saved in Dropbox not the default file location though.
I think that’s about it so far though.

I only save mine to the default location, and I still have this issue. This issue has been occurring for months before the update. There is only one file in the folder, but 4 toolsets somehow.

4 I could handle but in one profile I think I’m now up to 8.

Strange about it being in your default location – I’ve got the European technical team looking into this and they thought it was to do with external storage – Dropbox, OneDrive, etc..
They’ve said they can recreate the issue but there isn’t any fix date yet.

@Vince Looks like the 21.6.1 update published today has eliminated the “My Tools” issue
