I’ve run into this recently as well. I was thinking it had to do with video card memory limitations as it seems to happen when I have a large number of files open. After closing many files I sometimes get the display back on the one(s) that have gone white/blank without having to completely shutdown Revu and reopening it.

And, of course, holding down the Ctrl key to allow you to unrestrain the highlighter from nearby text.

Vince – I’m not sure if I completely understand your query but if the filename is the issue when you choose Extract Pages I typically select the option to “Use page label to name files”. Would this option help? -Bob

I just tried it by selecting a bunch of txt files in Windows Explorer, right-clicking and selecting the option “Combine files in Revu” and then Stapler popped up and prompted me for a filename and folder location as normal and processed them all. I did a small sample of 451 pages with no issues.

I’ve been working with the plotter vendor but we haven’t found a better option yet – still trying. They set me up with HP SmartStream which is a lighting fast tool but, as noted, doesn’t integrate with Papercut. I’ll keep trying driver options but hoped that someone might have a lesson learned to share regarding this plotter.

Tabz: I’ve found the quick way around a locked PDF is to drag it into a Google Chrome browser. Then print it to a PDF file. I usually use the Bluebeam PDF driver. Give it a new name and open it in Bluebeam. The restrictions are typically now history. Let us know if this works for you.

I think I have gotten to the bottom of the problem and it appears to be a bug – just don’t know who is responsible for it.

The issue occurred with Bluebeam eXtreme 20.2.70 initially but persists with 20.2.80.

Thanks, this one certainly has me puzzled and I have tried most options that I can think of to determine what might be behind this. As an illustration of the rotation problem see the attached image. The actual locations of the text boxes on the sheet is also rotated as are all lines, arrows and other graphics.

I’ve exported markups from a drawing set and imported them into an updated set. However:

1) the locations of the markups are rotated 90 degrees from the original. Neither PDF set was rotated at any time and no views were rotated.

2) the imported text boxes are rotated 90 degrees but the text inside actually remains readable and unrotated…
