Does it matter that one is Text and one is a Formula?

Hey Travis
Good to see someone else from Vancouver here, go ‘nucks!
First question I have is what version of word are you running. I ran a quick test using O365. It might make a difference, might not. Word hasn’t changed much over the years.
Anyway, when I tried this, the note icon comes in as a picture, so just click on it and you can deleted it. Second, the note field came in as a Textbox, which can be moved.
I don’t know if I would do a contract this way though.I’d probably export to Word before making any notes and then use Comments in Word to do what you’re doing. If you don’t know Word, highlight the text you want to comment on, and then from the Insert Tab, select Comment (its not that different than an Excel comment actually).
Other than that, I’d do what Troy suggested and use other markup tools. They too will come into Word as Text boxes or Shapes.

She made it through the surgery and everything went as well as we could have hoped for.
We knew that there would be some disease left because they can’t get the microscopic stuff. This is why she still has a couple of rounds of chemo to go.
Now onto the last stages of recovery.

So its been a while since I gave an update…
My wife is doing ok, things are still progressing. As of this posting her ‘debulking’ surgery is scheduled for Friday May 10th (right, heck of a way to celebrate Mother’s Day).
Don’t you love the term? Debulking. Makes it sound like weight loss surgery or something.
Basically, they go in and take out all the visible cancer, anything they can see with a naked eye. They’re also doing a full hysterectomy to (hopefully) get everything that could be in there too.
Needless to say, we’re both a little anxious and just waiting for Friday to be over.We hope they get it all and only leave the microscopic stuff that the last couple rounds of Chemo will take care of. Then she can start to get back to being herself.
Again, thanks for all the support.

Simply split your screen. The drag the new tab to another monitor. -

Layers are the better choice here

That workflow sounds really interesting. We should set up a Teams meeting. I can include my whole team on that so we can all see it in action.

You and I should talk more…. its been a while since we last did.
I also use Takeoff and have developed an entire workflow to process Revu Markups for direct import into Takeoff (I just wish Axel would make it so that we can do it all at once rather than by room)
