Looking to import custom Line Styles into Bluebeam® Revu®. You’re in luck! We’ve provided some detailed directions to help you upload them below. If you don't already have them, you can download our free Bluebeam Line Styles here.

Alright, let’s get to importing the Line Styles!

1. Save the provided UChapter2 LineStyles.blx file into the following folder location.

C:\Users\YOUR NAME\AppData\Roaming\Bluebeam Software\Revu\21

Note:YOUR NAME” will be your specific computer name and “21” is whichever version you’re running (these line styles will work regardless of version).

2. Next, in Bluebeam Revu open any PDF file and draw a line markup.

With this new markup selected, you can now go to the Properties Panel and select the line style pulldown menu as shown. Click on Manage option at the bottom of the list.

Bluebeam doesn't have very many line styles by default. Get a free download at UChapter2.com

3. Select the Import button at the bottom left corner of the resulting window and navigate to the folder above. Select the UChapter2 LineStyle.bhx file. Click Open on the bottom right corner.

4. With the file selected in the list, click Modify.

In the resulting window be sure to check the box for Relative Path. This helps things stay linked if you share Profiles with other users.

This is a good time to remove any unwanted line styles to reduce the length of the list. Simply select the line style in the list and click the red X on the left side. Repeat as needed.

When finished click OK.

6. SAVE: Now that we have successfully loaded our line styles, I recommend you go to the Revu > Profiles > Save Profile. This will ensure your new line styles stay saved to your Profile.
