Angled markups

    Who has encountered this??
You’ll notice on the attachment that the layout of this mall is set on the bias on the sheet.
When this happens, Revu does weird things with markups.

If you dig into this, you’ll see that we have set our Spaces showing the two rooms that we have product to take off.

If you select the Straight Glass Guardrail w/ Wood Cap markup that runs parallel to GL CYY you’ll see that the pick boxes are in a square, even though the markup is on the bias. Because of this, those two markups are not captured inside the Space for the 3rd Floor Restaurant.

I can’t even really change the size of the space because the markup would still cross over the 3rd Floor Escalator and Stairs Space.

Any ideas as to how to capture this markup inside of the Restaurant Space?

    That’s an interesting one @Doug!

I note that if you move the markup further back into the shape it’s then included as being in the space.

So, I’m guessing that this is a bug that needs reporting.

One option might be to duplicate the sheet and make the space larger so that it encompasses the markup. You would probably want to add a text box label of some sort on each sheet saying “use for room A only”

(Disclaimer – responding from my phone so working from your description only) 😎

I did think about making a new blank page, taking a snapshot and then rotating the snapshot on the blank page.
I shouldn’t have to do that though.

It’s a weird one @Doug but try moving the control point for the restaurant space that is next to where it says “SA Shaft 0314-125” and “126”.

Move this down slightly and it appears the measures are then included in the space.

The next one further up also may need moving down a bit as well.

No problem @Doug. Will you be reporting that one as although moving the points gets over the problem there is obviously still a bug in there?

When I get plans on the bias like this, I use the Deskew tool to set the rotation of the sheet to the building. Could that work @Doug McLean ?

      Didn’t even think of that.
