Single Key Shortcuts

On a few webinars I’ve heard that the markups in your “My Tools” tool chest have shortcuts assigned to them. For some reason I could never get them to work – and I was especially confused by shortcuts that had double digit numbers in them – how do you for example type “Ctrl-15”? Today I found the answer – “Single Key Shortcuts”. If you are in a PDF and you simply hit the “1” key review will automatically bring up the tool in the 1st position in your “My Tools” tool chest! To activate the 15th tool you simply key in “15” in quick succession.

While none of us are liable to remember what the 99th position in our my tools tool chest is it may be worth wild to have your textbox tool or call out tool available as a single keystroke.

Good find David, I only use the My Tools for things I use all the time and could memorize the number (which when tied to memory, isn’t very many😂) If I remember right, I tested this several years ago to find out you could have more than 100.
