    So, here I am minding my own business taking some of Troy’s courses (Baseline Basics) when I stumbled across something that others may find useful.

    If you got your profile set so markups are snapped to content, grid, markups etc, you may encountered that when trying to move a markup, or make placement adjustments to it, the snap feature is still active and sometimes snapping to an undesired location. To override it all you need to do is once you grab the markup to move around, hold ctrl. That overrides the snap feature and allows you (temporarily while holding ctrl down) to fine tune the location/placement.
