Disable auto-update via MSI (Admins)
As an administrator, are you looking for a way to disable the auto-update and update prompts?
There is a way to turn off the In-App Update as well as update prompts by passing a Registry merge. The following registry key needs to be adjusted:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Bluebeam Software\20\Revu\ Change the option for DisableInAppUpdates from 0 to 1.
Once set to 1 the option to Check for Updates will no longer appear under Help and any future update. This can be done as a registry merge and pushed via a login script or Group Policy.
