Took the plunge and loaded Revu 21 onto my office computer Friday afternoon!

Biggest “new” feature I’m looking forward to is the “Tool Chest Search”. At this point I have created over 500 custom markup tools for my takeoff workflow. While they are grouped into just under 50 toolboxes, some have more tools in them than others and it can be a bit of a chore to scroll through them. I expect that the search function will help to reduce the amount of scroll required…

Perhaps some of the little bugs that I’ve seen in Revu 20 will have been addressed too as a bonus.

What is your favorite feature of Revu 21?

I really like the new “Hide Markups” feature.

There are times when I need to place a helper markup (usually a Sketch to Scale type) and then trace over it so I get an exact size. With the new Hide Markups feature, I can just hide it and then delete the helper. Them have the primary markup back in a single click.

Also a fan of the “Multiply” feature.

Not a fan of the new custom dynamic labels though. It still doesn’t work right

Multiply is going to be right up there on my list of favorite features…. 🙂

I remember hearing about the new hide individual markup feature @Doug McLean but haven’t tried it yet. Have to put that on my list for today!

The ability to hide individual markups might be a candidate for a top 10 feature list @Doug McLean !

As a bonus I like the way they have added a “markups hidden” flag on the screen when you are using the “hide markups” tools.

Thank you again for mentioning this one! 🙂

        its pretty handy.
You can even hide multiple markups, and then unhide them all at once.

Less clunky than the way that it was done before

Used both the “tool chest search” and the “hide individual markup” features on a takeoff today. Both proved to be valuable timesavers in my workflow! 🙂

@DavidCutler I’m not sure which feature I find most helpful but one thing i’m certainly glad of is the removal of some of the glitches in Revu 20!

Having said that, there are still a few that need seeing to in Revu 21.
