Bluebeam in the Field

Here’s something I end up telling people when they ask about marking up drawings on an
    iPad in the field:

Flatten the layers you don’t need before you walk out the door. The file loads faster, your
session syncs cleaner, and you’re not hunting through markup layers that have nothing to
do with what you’re looking at on-site.

Seems obvious in hindsight. Didn’t feel obvious the first time I was standing outside a
building watching a progress bar while I waited.

That said, the mobile workflow is one of those things where everyone’s got a different setup
and different frustrations. So I’m curious: if you’re doing field markup with the Bluebeam
mobile app, what’s your actual setup? Studio Session, local file, something else? And
what’s the one thing you wish someone had told you before you tried it on a live job site?
