<p>What version of Revu are you running <span class="atwho-inserted"><a class='bp-suggestions-mention' data-bb-hp-profile='4978' href='https://uchapter2.com/members/bb-user/' rel="nofollow">@bb-user</a></span> ?  I&#8217;m still hanging back in Revu 21.6.</p>
<p>I haven&#8217;t kept track of what I&#8217;ve been doing when it shuts down <span class="atwho-inserted"><a class='bp-suggestions-mention' data-bb-hp-profile='7' href='https://uchapter2.com/members/troydegroot/' rel="nofollow">@troy-degroot</a></span> &#8211; or which files.  Basically too frustrated when it shuts down to take notice!</p>

Part of this may be that they are applying a wet seal and signature, but even their unsealed documents appear to be scanned &#8211; or at least are what I believe is called a &#8220;raster&#8221; print rather than a &#8220;vector&#8221; print.</p>

<p>The issue is present when we open the file on  either machine.  </p>
<p>Other files are displaying linework without issues.</p>
<p>When we open a copy of the original file (without markups) all of the linework is visible </p>

The original linework on a 31 page takeoff file is not displaying.  His takeoff markups are there, but none of the original linework is visible.  </p>
<p>We checked to ensure all the layers are on &#8211; which they are.</p>

I hadn&#8217;t really thought of it before, but just because the scale of the drawing is Metric, the tool can measure in Imperial.  That&#8217;s pretty slick.</p>
<p>For <span class="atwho-inserted"><a class='bp-suggestions-mention' data-bb-hp-profile='4978' href='https://uchapter2.com/members/bb-user/' rel="nofollow">@bb-user</a></span> if you have already applied markups using tools that measure in Metric units, but you are looking for Imperial values you could select all of&hellip;</p>

<p>Have you considered adding a couple of custom columns with a conversion factor and a formula to apply the factor to the metric measurement for conversion?</p>
<p>I&#8217;d expect <a class='bp-suggestions-mention' data-bb-hp-profile='2245' href='https://uchapter2.com/members/doug/' rel="nofollow">@doug</a> mclean might have some thoughts on this one as he works with both metric and imperial measurements on a regular basis.</p>

I ended up using Sketch to Scale and Multiply Markups to get some general layout.  Went to good old Excel in the in end to extend out my bar count and length.  Got it done and the client seems pleased at this point so that&#8217;s the important part! &#x1f642; </p>

Turns out you can reorder them after all, but there is a catch &#8211; you cannot reorder layers if you have the display set to &#8220;Show Layers On Page Only&#8221;.  Once I disabled the filtered view I could click and drag the layers around as I saw fit.  &#x1f642;</p>

<p>1. Slip sheeting the new page in &#8211; should maintain all markups</p>
<p class="">2. Exporting markups and then importing them to the updated document</p>

<p>Some of my workflow was developed before I had basic understandings of Power Query so having the required columns, in the right order saved steps in my manual data washing process. <p>At #UNBOUND25 last week they announce a &#8220;stitching tool&#8221; that I thought they said is included in Revu 21.7, but I can&#8217;t seem to find it yet.  Perhaps it is still in the Beta test phase.</p>
<p>Anyway, it is similar to <span class="atwho-inserted"><a class='bp-suggestions-mention' data-bb-hp-profile='55' href='https://uchapter2.com/members/vince/' rel="nofollow">@Vince</a></span> &#8216;s manual process, but maintains&hellip;</p>

I&#8217;ve used &#8220;Erase PDF Content&#8221; a few times before.  It works well, but is very permanent, so I don&#8217;t use it often.  I noticed today in the same menu that there is a &#8220;Cut PDF Content&#8221; tool in the same menu at Edit-&gt;PDF Content-&gt;Cut PDF Content.</p>
<p>This appears to be a mash up of the &#8220;Snapshot&#8221; tool and the &#8220;Erase&hellip;</p>

I reached out to Revu support about this and while they could see the issue in my error logs, they could not identify what was causing the issue.  To correct the issue the suggest a complete reinstallation and provided a link to their &#8220;cleaner&hellip;</p>
