For those of us in the Finishing Trades, Power Query can work better than QL because invariably GC’s want things broken down by room or item even.
QL is great, but setting it up by Space is time consuming. Its next to impossible to set that up on a Template.
I have one re-usable workbook that transforms the data to the way I need it based on a BatchConfig file. It also has two macros on it that break the output table into Tabs as per the Spaces column and then saves those tabs as individual csv files which I import into my Estimating Software.

    Its pretty slick.

Could you not link to a document, that has a list of hyperlinks on it? Not the best, but could be a workaround.
Have you tried flattening the hyperlink? I know that works with hyperlinks in that other PDF reader, maybe it’ll work in a Session.

What version are you using David?

This was a problem in Revu 2019, but it got fixed in Revu 20.
I had it where you could move one grip, then you had to deselect the tool, and reselect it.
    Very annoying.

I’ve noticed this too, only with Line Styles.
We have a couple of people here using 2019, but Revu 20 allows for Custom Line styles that don’t show up as an available tool.

the easiest way might be to open a blank PDF and then attach the Profiles and Tool sets you want to that PDF. Then simply save it on a OneDrive or email it to yourself.
you could also just drop the Profiles and Tool Sets into your OneDrive or other cloud based access.

Yes, most of them are the same.

They will go to a specific sub folder within our Estimate folder.

Everything is consistent. Everything is all contained within the same parent folder.

I’ve had this issue with Spaces, but never Area.

    David,

Have you tried using Power Query to do your data washing?

I’ve used this and it works very well.
Spaces is also great for defining an elevation.

One thing I also do is add a note using the Headers and Footer’s option that tells me what drawing package its from.
Nothing crazy, just something like Bid Set or Addendum X
It also gives me another Tag for the set in a consistent location.

most times you don’t need too, however there are times when a drawing has been skewed and the x and y scales are different.
I’ve also heard that Civil plans can be sent this way.

Power Query is a function within Excel. If you have O365 you’ll find it under the Data tab. Get and Transform.
Power Query is a way to ‘wash’ your data in ways that Excel Formula’s can’t do. Its also REALLY good when you have to repeat various steps as new data becomes available.
I would recommend watching a few YouTube videos on the subject first before trying it.
