When i do internal deducts on plan, i use a simple line tool named ddt,then use a custom height column as a multiplier,……. i know its more math after the export

Hi Vince,

if the file names are odd…..but consistent……..you could try using the Match By -page region

and then when doing this……..pick the file name first from the title block—then add the revision section ?

resorted to creating areas from spaces and manually labelled them all.

Had a large scheme that i was trying to break down into areas for stage payments

over several floors and varying footprints……..and wanted to have a legegend to go with the proforma splits.

when you create a space, and then set it to highlight……….is there a way to export that

to a pdf without creating additional markups?

Is there a way to get the spaces i,ve created to display on an exported PDF?

appreciate any pointers

dont know if flattening and batch OCR before comparison would make any difference?

Can this be done in properties mode? i can see it works in drawing mode.

thats the way i always used to use, trying to keep the export data to a minimum….

oh….. and avoid the maths if poss!

correct thats what i was asking David…………….have resorted to simply selecting the cut out and pasting.(or dragging to next opening)…………as you can only do 1 cut out at a time (cut and paste), the ability to select multiple cut outs for pasting would be good………especially when there are different sized cut outs

does anyone know how the line width setting relates to the page scale?

say i have a plan set at 1:100 scale……..and the line width at 1.00

how wide is that line?

have set up some really fat lines and then tried to measure but have a feeling its related to pixels

some drawings have different locations for the title block

eg first drawing is bottom right

next drawing is top left

how do you deal with reading the tags?
