    Hey Travis

Good to see someone else from Vancouver here, go ‘nucks!

First question I have is what version of word are you running. I ran a quick test using O365. It might make a difference, might not. Word hasn’t changed much over the years.

Anyway, when I tried this, the note icon comes in as a picture, so just click on it and you can deleted it. Second, the note field came in as a Textbox, which can be moved.
I don’t know if I would do a contract this way though.

I’d probably export to Word before making any notes and then use Comments in Word to do what you’re doing. If you don’t know Word, highlight the text you want to comment on, and then from the Insert Tab, select Comment (its not that different than an Excel comment actually).

Other than that, I’d do what Troy suggested and use other markup tools. They too will come into Word as Text boxes or Shapes.

She made it through the surgery and everything went as well as we could have hoped for.

We knew that there would be some disease left because they can’t get the microscopic stuff. This is why she still has a couple of rounds of chemo to go.

Now onto the last stages of recovery.

So its been a while since I gave an update…

My wife is doing ok, things are still progressing. As of this posting her ‘debulking’ surgery is scheduled for Friday May 10th (right, heck of a way to celebrate Mother’s Day).

Don’t you love the term? Debulking. Makes it sound like weight loss surgery or something.
Basically, they go in and take out all the visible cancer, anything they can see with a naked eye. They’re also doing a full hysterectomy to (hopefully) get everything that could be in there too.
Needless to say, we’re both a little anxious and just waiting for Friday to be over.

We hope they get it all and only leave the microscopic stuff that the last couple rounds of Chemo will take care of. Then she can start to get back to being herself.

Again, thanks for all the support.

Revu allows you the ability to open multiple copies of the drawings in multiple tabs at the same time.
Simply split your screen. The drag the new tab to another monitor.

If Bluebeam would add a simple IF function, this would all be possible.

As it stands now, you have to export the data to Excel or Google Sheets to do that.

We were just upgraded to Revu 21, but I haven’t had the chance to even look at Cloud due to my current schedule.

I do want to dive into this, as we do do a fair amount of field work.

    We shall see

Axel is a little odd like that. Sometimes its tough enough just to get ahold of him.

That workflow sounds really interesting. We should set up a Teams meeting. I can include my whole team on that so we can all see it in action.

    Hey John

You and I should talk more…. its been a while since we last did.

I also use Takeoff and have developed an entire workflow to process Revu Markups for direct import into Takeoff (I just wish Axel would make it so that we can do it all at once rather than by room)

I can do that very easily in Excel.

    Its just an XLOOKUP function

I think you’d still need that conditional function

Basically what I want, is the information that is shown in the captions to be available to me in the markups list.

On a 3 point radius, I can turn on the caption for the arc angle, but that isn’t available to me (I would need to use the angle tool for that to show up. Same things with the arc length.

I’d also love it if I could take that arc length and assign it a depth. Its really the only way to properly get the area of a curved wall in Revu. Funny enough, you can assign a depth to the Diameter measurement tool, but sometimes you don’t have the whole circle.

We need better tools for curved work.

Yeah, that’s the workaround, but why should I have to do that, when I can take the 3 Point Radius Tool, do the markup, and then turn on the captions and all that information is already there. It’s just not available to me in the markups list.
