No way to change the permissions so I printed a new copy and then everything was available.

I have toyed with it a little, but have not implemented it into any workflow yet.

Yeah, I have been known to pop keys off my keyboard from time to time, and even re-map a few of them.

Thanks Isaac, it was one of my other users he probably hit it by accident. That’s kind of a crazy option, never had the need to have to turn those off.

Had not thought about the count tool, I will experiment with that.

Probably about the same as what I am doing now. Just wishful thinking that there might be something better.

Typically these are some of the very 1st things I do when I get new drawings in and this needs to be done anyway so Save or Save as tomato/tomoto. Which its not a big deal for me since the rest of the herd isn’t following me anyway (I hate not having standards, & nobody wanting to get onboard to establish them).

Not sure I want the script to have that much control though?

I also have a pdf file called Layers that has all my default layers so I just insert that page into my combined document and it creates those layers save the document and then delete the page, the Layers stay in the combined file even though you can’t see them, but if your tools in your tool bag are assigned to those layers it starts populating as you add markups. Terry Cline has a good video on how to do the Layers on Youtube https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-eY0IYljFxs

I might be wrong on this though.

Its only the existing markups that are locked, the columns are fine. I think it has to do with flattening when I pull the file down off of sessions, insert my new drawings and then put the file back up on sessions. Really kind of sucks because I was getting these columns set up to track my RFIs so the RFIs that I have answers to since I updated the drawings in the file I can’t update the markup in the resolved column. However, I was thinking about switching to using Sets (I like the term ‘Binder’ much better’ also), and running in Projects instead of Sessions. Like Liz, not sure if I can get the cats herded in the same direction. Was thinking of creating a ‘Category’ for RFIs and putting my RFIs right in the same Set as my contract drawings kind of like another discipline

Yes, I have watched that and it was very helpful. I have those processes incorporated, just looking for a good way to create a Summary file or page for all RFIs on a job. Not the best at using some of the more advanced features in Bluebeam, but slowly picking up on them.
