Thank you all. In the process of downloading the most recent update. Not sure how I went from one computer to the next and it set up an older version of 21. Should be fixed shortly i would guess.

As important as our work is, and the reason that it has brought this “community” together, it is definitely not the most important thing. I appreciate you sharing. I am sorry to hear about the cancer, I wouldn’t dare to say I understand what you or Tammy are going through. I can only seek to empathize with your struggle as related to suffering and grieve and pray for healing with and for you guys. Shari and I will be praying for you both in the coming months, may Christ be glorified even in the midst of suffering and pain, and that God might draw you closer to Himself.

    David, I’ll be your Huckleberry!

    😎

My Dashboard isn’t new but it is still working for me. I keep it in a Project Startup Folder and just change the name of the project. It has four pages that are all linked together. Looking forward to see some other peoples Dashboards.

It just so happens that is what Jason and Michael over at ATG are talking about this coming Tueaday in their morning bluebeam and coffee weekly streaming event.

I can relate. I can’t imagine just using a laptop screen ever again. Ha. While I was off work I bought a new Legion Tower 5i Gaming PC. It more than handles all my construction needs as well as my drone video editing. 😃 I still (only) have two 24” monitors but it is on my list to upgrade to at least two 27’s, possibly two 32’s.

    Thanks for the response Doug.

I just wasn’t clear enough in my description of my steps. I did use the forms panel and the properties tab to add an action. It was only when I skipped the forms functions and used the hyperlinks that I could get the whole thing to work. I also went back and checked to see if before I flattend my dashboard the box to flatten form fields was unchecked. Like I mentioned before this is probably NOT going to happen again as most of us view our pdf’s in something other than a web tab in google drive. It works everywhere else I tried to open the document.

Well too late for that. Ha. I made a copy and already deleted all those “actions” and added the hyperlinks. Not the end of the world. It wasn’t that dynamic of a dashboard. TBH storing a pdf in Google Drive is not as aesthecially pleasing to look at in a web tab as it is in Bluebeam. But now I will have some questions for a new quandry. Guess it will require a new post. 🙂

I am very elusive Troy. Ha. It has been a totally different skillset setting up and leading superintendents rather than running a project. Still adjusting and figuring out my new normal. I am still using your name to my peers though. 🙂 And I was just touting your skills at our Chicago Bug meeting this last month. Angela Aff said “Troy is the BEST”!

I am not. I have a separate project folder for each job and just rename the dashboard. I am sure there are some upgrades that could be made but now I am just too busy. And now that I say that it reminds me of the guy that is too busy to stop chopping at the tree to stop and sharpen the axe. Ha.

These are great Andrew. I was honestly going to make some of these up for myself now that I am at a new company with their logos. Yours look great. Always nice to stand on the shoulders of others.
