Brings up a couple of additional questions:
1. What version of Revu are you using? We’ve seen some issues with functionality not working in the latest updates?
2. Are you looking to provide a secure digital signature on each page or a simple image of a “wet” signature?
For what it’s worth using Revu 20.2.70 Extreme I am able to create a simple stamp, apply it to one page, then select that stamp, right click and select “Apply to Pages” without any issues.

Overlaying documents is one of my favorite workflows when I receive an updated plan set. One great feature is the way that Revu establishes layers for each of the compared sheets (one layer for each version). In addition to the different colors that Revu assigns to each version I find that toggling the layers on and off makes seeing the differences much easier.
Bonus Tip: If you need to show someone what has changed you can take snapshots of the area that has changed with the original image displayed, the current image displayed or the overlay. These snapshots can then be added to an email or other document to communicate the changes to others.

Commenting to bring this topic back to the front where it belongs as it has been relegated to page 497 by all of the spam postings.
Along those lines if you are looking to cut through all the spam simply click on the “497” in the lower right hand corner of the forum page and you will see the relevant posts. 😎

@matt-hackman did you come up with a good solution for your saw cutting question?

I still don’t know the official name for this screen, but it can be handy. One spot I’ve used it is to establish offsets from a curb line for a pavement patch. If I know I need to be 2 feet off the curb I can start at the curb and extend out into the roadway looking at the segment length until I reach 2 feet then set my next point. This saves me having to establish the offset distance with another tool.

You probably already know these tricks for working with layers but I’ll mention them for others:
– If you click on the “Layers” menu you can select an option for “Show Layers on Page Only”. This is a great way to manage the “greyed out” clutter.
– You can right click on a layer in the layer tree and select “Isolate”. This will turn off all of the layers with the one that you were on when you right clicked.
– After you have “Isolated” a layer an easy way to see what is on each layer is to turn them “on” one by one.
– Dynamic Fill appears to work better if you turn off unnecessary layers. If I’m measuring paving areas for example I will turn off the utility layers so that my “fill” doesn’t stop at every utility line.
– You can rename existing layers by double clicking on them. That way when you figure out what “11699|PF-EXG-TXT” means you can rename it to something that you understand.
Anyone have other tricks for layers?

I’m sure you could put together a quick PowerPoint to present the added functionality to your team. That way they would also have something to refer back to when they have questions.
Do your PMs use your takeoffs as a management tool?

Thank you for the heads up @Vince
I’m going to keep working away back here in 20.2.70….
Glad that folks like yourself are out on there at the front of the bus finding all the bugs! 😎
