I only just saw this, sorry!
Are you copying the button within a single PDF? Or between different PDFs?

Page labels out of Revit.
We don’t use the Bluebeam plugin, we use regular CTRL+P. And because of that we get bookmarks, but no page labels. And the bookmarks are nested under a random “Sheets” bookmark, so to create page labels the user needs to:
- Un-nest the bookmarks
- Delete the extraneous “Sheets” bookmark
- Create page labels from bookmarks
The whole process takes 5 seconds once you have the muscle memory down. But I think we all know that if we ask our users to do one extra step that they’re not used to, that particular step will not get done.

Did you ever solve this? Or did an update fix it?
My coworker was having an issue where tool chests saved on our network drive were unlinking themselves multiple times per day, even though we’re all also using a network profile with the same version of Revu and no one else was experiencing this issue.
What fixed it for her was this:
- Close Revu
- Use Notepad or Notepad++ to open the file C:\ProgramData\Bluebeam Software\Bluebeam Revu\21\Revu\FeatureFlags.xml
- Edit the line with ToolChestUseNew to:
- Save the file and then reopen Revu
<Feature Name=”ToolChestUseNew” Enabled=”False” Protected=”True” />

@isaac-harned @mitchyoungs and I will be there talking about JavaScript!
It should be… interesting.
I’m also doing a solo presentation about dynamic stamps.
I’ll be arriving in DC on Monday afternoon and leaving Friday whenever I feel like it.

Custom statuses are part of the markup metadata, meaning the markup itself does not change. When you look in the markup list, though, you’ll see each time the markup’s status was changed, who changed it, and when.
You can make as many statuses as you want and they can be called whatever you want.
You can also reply to a markup, which basically leaves a little comment on the markup with a specific symbol on plan letting you know there’s a reply. You can view those replies in the markup list.
With these 2 features combined, I’m hoping you can accomplish what you need. The person back at the office resolving the final punch list can see all of these statuses and replies and finish the list accordingly.
I hope that makes sense (ish?). Reach out if you need more help.

That’s an option. But it’s much quicker to un-nest the existing bookmarks, especially for larger sets of drawings.

No, the bookmarks already exist, they do not need to be created.

No, no form fields. And it happens to all documents, it’s the software not the document. The keyboard shortcut just doesn’t work anymore.
However, the functionality (autosizing the box around the text) works if we reassign it to a different keyboard shortcut.

It still works from the context menu, the keyboard shortcut just doesn’t work.

RealObjects PDFreactor?
When I used the stapler, it made the larger set of shop drawings crash (cool), however the reasonably sized PDF converted properly and I was able to use keyboard shortcuts!
How the heck did your brain come up with that?? I stand before you in awe and with gratitude.
@troy-degroot Next time this happens to you, check the document properties and see what the printer was. See if using the stapler helps.
**Note** using the stapler will flatten your markups, so just be aware.

Nope. Keyboard shortcuts cannot create markups of any kind.
Non-markup related keyboard shortcuts work, though. For instance CTRL+P or CTRL+S. Those are fine.
