No, no form fields. And it happens to all documents, it’s the software not the document. The keyboard shortcut just doesn’t work anymore.

However, the functionality (autosizing the box around the text) works if we reassign it to a different keyboard shortcut.

It still works from the context menu, the keyboard shortcut just doesn’t work.

Myself and several coworkers are having an issue where ALT-Z isn’t working, but all other shortcuts are.

When I used the stapler, it made the larger set of shop drawings crash (cool), however the reasonably sized PDF converted properly and I was able to use keyboard shortcuts!

Nope. Keyboard shortcuts cannot create markups of any kind.

Non-markup related keyboard shortcuts work, though. For instance CTRL+P or CTRL+S. Those are fine.

Anyone ever receive a PDF from an external source and you can’t use keyboard shortcuts to create markups? You can create markups, but you actually have to click the button for it. Ugh.

It seems like if it happens once, it will continue to happen for every PDF I receive from that source, generally it’s CA (construction administration phase)…

Yeah, I’m thinking I’m going to have to set them up individually 😕 Seems to defeat the purpose of having groups.

Oh, I’m not the Session owner. Is that why? I have full permissions to this Session, but I did not create it.

In the Attendees tab, the green + only allows me to enter email addresses and the little people icon says “you have no groups or users available”. So I still cannot figure out how to add groups.

I’ve never really used the Groups feature of Studio Sessions before and I’m having trouble setting it up how I want.

I’ve successfully created a couple groups of people who I want to have special permission settings, however I can’t actually add those Groups to the Permissions window.

Back in April 2023 I created a Bluebeam Cloud feature comparison table.

Well, it’s been a year (ish) and the guys at ATG will be talking about Bluebeam Cloud in today’s Tuesday Morning Coffee Revu.

So here’s the updated chart.

Only Bluebeam Cloud receives updates automatically.

For any installed software, it will still need to be updated by your IT department (to my knowledge).

The Multiply feature was implemented in version 21.0.50 and if you’re version is less than that, you won’t have the multiply feature.

I’m wondering if there’s a setting somewhere? We don’t use the Bluebeam Revit plugin, so it’s not that (probably).

We’re currently using Revu 21.

The links are created automatically by printing via CTRL+P, then choosing the Bluebeam option in the print dialog. We’ve never had to create them on an existing PDF, they’re always just there when Revit is done creating the file.

Hey guys, I have a weird one. At least, I’ve never seen this before.

All of a sudden, one of my user’s hyperlink box extents around linked sections is huge. He said it’s nearly impossible to click on the correct section when you’ve got a few in close-ish proximity to each other.

For some reason you cannot convert line segments to arcs if you were holding SHIFT to make that segment snap to 0° or 90° increments. If you snapped to 45° convert to arc should work just fine.

I just move the node a tiny bit, convert to arc, then turn on “snap to content” to be able to put it back aligned with the other node.

I brought it into my favorite JavaScript syntax checker, https://jshint.com, and it showed me that there are indeed some syntax errors.

Take a look and see if you can figure out where you’re missing brackets and whatnot. I suggest maybe download a free text editor meant specifically for coding, either Sublime Text or Notepad++. Either of…

I do agree with you that manipulating hyperlinks is not a function that Bluebeam has allowed with their JavaScript API. I like your workaround to use buttons, but it’d be nice to just straight be able to insert hyperlinks.
